The UA is committed to increasing access to college for Arizona students. A new program called Arizona Assurance will remove financial barriers for many Arizona families and reinforce the belief that a college education is possible. As Arizona Assurance scholars, they will receive a financial package valued at the cost of tuition, books, room and board. Incoming freshmen from families with a household income of less than $42,400 will be eligible for this program, the most inclusive program of its kind in Arizona.
The Arizona Assurance plan includes a comprehensive plan to for student success. These scholars will be assigned a faculty mentor, an academic advisor and be offered career planning and placement services. For those who maintain a 2.0 grade average, this award is renewable for 8 semesters.
