Tuition for Fall 2009

Starting in fall 2009, the UA’s tuition for resident undergraduates will increase by $659 per year to $5,933. The tuition for out-of-state undergraduate students will increase by $2,575 to $20,983.

Other tuition increases include:

In addition, the University is implementing a student services fee for the second year. This fee of $80 per academic year was phased in during this academic year. An online survey in 2007 showed student support for this fee and allowed them to direct its use. With this additional revenue, students are benefitting from additional counseling staff, more campus safety programs, more support for graduate students to attend academic conferences, and increased access to math and science tutors. Fifteen percent of the fee revenues will be set aside for need-based student financial aid.
